Importance of Learning

In my opinion, we gain information and knowledge if we have the zeal and interest to learn at each point of time. By this, I strongly mean that however experienced a particular person is, he or she is never old to learn anything from any person in this world. I had a interest to learn or grasp detailed and depth knowledge on impact of cyber security, and that being the reason why I selected this topic to learn how far Kmart faced the challenges from cyber security in recent times.  I have successfully completed the research on cyber security challenges for business and learnt plenty of things that had helped me for solving any problems. I have taken this topic cyber security because this arises in recent times and has major significance in recent times. The research proposal had been conducted to discuss the cyber security challenges that was faced by a retail company in Australia named as Kmart. Cyber topography is one of the aspects that had exceedingly affects the business domain.

Learning is a qualitative aspect and it cannot be measured in monetary terms, rather people can be judged and presented on how far they know regarding any particular topic. Value gathered from learning is a precious and unique thing that can only be felt when people have keen interest to know for a particular aspect or topic.  I made an effort to highlight the problems of cyber security that are increasing at a rapid pace. I have applied subjective information investigation technique at the time of conducting the research proposal. I have identified some of the key challenges that are detrimental to the cyberspace problems. I have even discussed some of the challenges in the literature review section. Several potential threats has been noted where cyberspace security of certain retail companies such as Kmart is at stake. I have designed some of the research questions to understand the cyber security challenges for business. I had specified the research issues that are indispensable for conducting the research in smoother ways.

I am student from Holmes University, Australia and was assigned by my lecturer to prepare a research proposal on an interesting topic. For this, I selected the topic on Cyber security challenges faced by Kmart, retail organization in Australia.

During my course program, I was guided with all the necessary information that was needed to conduct research proposal on a particular topic.

Scope and Objectives of the Project

I desire to become an entrepreneur in future and for this, I need to be self-confident and courageous to face any types of risks. After this research, I understood how to carry out something by my own and that is the reason why I conducted this research to find out my abilities in practical terms.

This research had taught me lot of things that was otherwise not possible. I can now easily solve a problem and analyze the situation in different ways. My life became much more competent than it was before.

In my research study, I have properly highlighted the scope as well as objectives of the project that links with research topic cyber security challenges that are faced by Kmart. On analysis, I understood that Kmart had faced serious business challenges that relates to the cyber security. I have identified some of the cyber issues while studying the research project that had gravely jeopardized the organizational structure by Kmart. With the increased technology, it is known that operations of contemporary business activities where cyber security had turned into subject of concern to modern day scholars that poses a possibility of unauthorized access to company data. Kmart is the Australian retailer in Australia that was on the spotlight when a dreaded cyber-attack and hackers access crucial data of their customers. In addition, Kmart had to share information with the affected customers regarding acquisition of the personal contacts of customers such as email address, phone contacts as well as billing address and details about the purchase of a product. To objectify each step of learning process, I could easily now gain knowledge and insights of information that links with the research topic.

Analysis of Cyber Security Challenges Faced by Kmart

I have understood the importance of research learning process. This research proposal had made me learn about the concept of cyber security challenges faced by business after evaluating the data sources through use of qualitative data analysis. It is important to understand each of the aspects very minutely to avoid any types of problems further. I am grateful to my professor who had constantly guided me in every step wherever I needed to solve any types of problems. Cyber security is a recent topic and is selected for my current research proposal that is faced by Kmart.

There are various challenges that actually hampered the effort that creates a cyber-secure environment. It gives rise to loss client’s data to cyber criminals and loss of trust that aggravates the situation in a company named as Kmart. It is understood that criminals gets sophisticated with time making that makes it harder to maintain at the same time. It looks at the tendency of some of the nations that regulates internet access that hampers the process of pursuit of these criminals. Some of the criminals have the ability for attacking the essential components that run the internet like smart grids that worsens the situations.

By this research proposal, I understood that companies face cyber security challenges. It is prevalent to enhance the cyber security potentialities over the past five years where the formal mechanisms can be used for identifying potential such as IT threats as well as establishing strategies of mitigation. The cyberspace had undergone during wide ramifications as well as modifications at the same time. I have analyzed research design after identifying the research problem that leads to preparation of the research project

I have specified the research problem that is prevalent for conducting the research in the most appropriate way. I have taken account three types of investigation where I have used explorative model where it has clear cognizance that aligns with the research topic.
