It has been found that the hospitality industry including hotel industry is one of the biggest supports for the British economy. As per the last report of Office of National Statistics, it has been found that Euro 98 bn was the rate of last turnover in respect of hotel industry of UK (Zervas et al. 2017). Moreover, it was also been found that the UK based hotel performance rate is increasing day by day and at the end of 2018 it results in the profit of Euro 115 which helps to strengthen the economic condition of British market (Bender et al. 2018).

In addition to this low consumer confidence related to the best hotel service of UK reflects a negative effect on the business performance increase of the hotel industry (Al Shobaki et al. 2017). However, as per the theory concept of Mashlow, it has been found that the meeting of employee requirements helps in increasing satisfaction of them in respect to the working life (Campos-Soria et al. 2015). It has been found that most of the hotels recruit employees by poor determination of their hospitality skills at the time of huge work pressure (Campos-Soria et al. 2015). On the other hand, it was also found that most of the hotels were unable to predict perfect salary slab for each employees by determining their job roles and responsibility along with qualification (Çelik et al. 2015). It has been found that salary helps the employees to meet their daily needs such as food, accommodation clothing and so on (Koskinen Sandberg, 2017). Therefore, it can be understood that a good amount of wage is too much significance for employee satisfaction. Employee satisfaction due to good wages impacts positively on their performance which sharpens the service of hotel industry (Kogovsek and Kogovsek, 2015). On the other hand, good hospitality service of the hotel industries also impacts on consumer satisfaction positively and assure future growth.

In addition to this, the study will also emphasize on the impact of wage management on the hotel industry performance development by determining all the significance of the wage management. It has been found that wage management helps in understanding the importance of the roles and responsibilities of an employee along with the value of his or her job duty to the industrial performance (Santero-Sanchez et al. 2015). Such understanding helps the wage management to restructure the salary slab of the employees in respect to their job responsibility. Besides, wage management also helps to understand about the perfect salary slot for their employees in respect to the nature of organizational service of various hotels (Sturman et al. 2017). Therefore, it can be understood that wage management also helps to retain employees. Moreover, it also creates a future risk concern among the employees for poor future growth which will impacts negatively on their requirement meeting (Falk, 2016). Therefore, the motivation of the employees also will be down towards their job responsibility. Such kind of negative effect of low wages destroys the performance growth for the hotel industry.

This study has been proceeded to concentrate on the implementation outcome of proper wage management in UK based hotel industry. As illustrated earlier, this study has been systematically adopted suitable theory to describe the core subject matter in the light of the given instances for better understanding (Poldrugovac et al. 2016). It has been found that wage management is too significant to meet the basic requirements of the employees by developing the structure of their pay scale as per their roles and responsibilities (Ajmal et al. 2015). Employees or workers of a hospitality domain, such as hotel industry is considered as the key regulatory factor because they are directly associated to the client or the customer as well (EmiroÄŸlu et al. 2015).

Conclusion

A progressive approach in pay system is dependent on the performance, skills, experience and education of the employees of the hotel industry as described in this study with a relevance of UK based hotel industry (Lynn and Boone, 2015). As per the view of BaÅŸar and Basim (2015) client satisfaction only can be done by satisfying the employees of an organization through wage increment or remuneration. In a nutshell, the study has illustrated why it is mandatory to have systematic wage management system in UK based hotel industry in order to improve the organizational structure with specific suitable theory in this relevance (Falk, 2016).
