Purpose statement: The study will show how and why the big data opens  new dimension for the business organization.

The organizations are developing their skills every day. They are trying to build better scope and opportunity for the business organizations every day. The study will discuss how the organizations are adapting the business processes into their daily work life and removing the position of people from the organization. The requirement for manual labour is decreased in the present generation and the use of technology is replacing it from every direction.

The study stated that the big data opens a new space and area of dimension for the business organization providing them with advantages of intelligence from data and then translating it to the business benefits. (Van Der Aalst, La Rosa and Santoro 2016). However there are few back dated organizations that still believes in the fact that the manual labour and the old method driven organizations are more trust worthy and better to transact business. There primary fear is that they might not be able to adopt the latest technology and cope up with the technical advantages. However the study discuss about the usefulness about this theory with reference to the selected paper and at the same time it will also include the risks that might be related to the technological involvement in business organization. The business process management is recognized as a management system that promotes business effectiveness along with innovation and efficiency. It is helping the organization with latest innovation and advantages that help the organization.

The article by Gehman ,Trevino and Garud(2013) states the fact that the process oriented organization is the ultimate way of creating a successful organization in the present world.

The difference of the IBPM from the current generation to the next generation can be summarized with the reference of 4p (Wu et al. 2014):

Analytical: the important feature of this system is its capability to analyse in an advance manner. It integrates with the analytic technologies including the pre and post analytics. The pre analytic concentrates on the process model based analysis and the post analytic concentrates on the historical log and other data.

Benefits and risks of integrating technology into business processes

Automatic: the huge amount of data the will be compiled require to be analysed in a automated or semi automated manner. The iBPM should be designed to facilitate the entire process that automatically reduces the scope for duplication.

Adaptive: the change in the business process and the external data are very important for the organization. They should be made flexible to be accessed by adaptive adjusting.

Agile: the business analytics have a strong understanding about the business but they cannot design the model unless the IT staffs support them. The iBPM is supposed to simplify the work for them.

However according to Bekele (2018) the birth and growing of the big data was the defining characteristic of the 2000s. Before the existence of big data it was considered to be word as maxims but now they must consider them as achievable technical criteria for the work where the big data brings vitality for BPM. As driven by the process data they canbe considered as the new platform for the researchand development intelligence based on big data, making Deming’s maxims a reality. It is often difficult to distinguish and are often misunderstood by the decision maker. The risks are not tangible or visible initially but they can be cause of huge threat if not faced properly. The interest to get involved to new technology and software is a good habit but early understanding and realization is required for this. In web dictionary the term risk is defined as the possibility of loss or injury. The definition can also be translated to fundamental concept of risk management, risk exposure. In general in business process field big data means mobile sensor, social media, astronomy application that have generated as explosion abundant data. The big data can be described from a generalized point of view as data that has the following features canbe termed s a processed data:

  1. Composing events
  2. A data on multiple units of analysis with ambiguous boundaries
  3. Data of variable temporal embeddedness
  4. Eclectic

Sparsity Vs redundancy: the use f the traditional data and artificial intelligence algorithm has shown their limitation on data sparcity in a huge scale or the issues associated with high dimensionality. However the large amount of data  that has been processed exhibits redundancy instead if sparcity. A real scenario is invested and in China. There re more than 8000 processes running in such processes, also expressing the similar behaviour and are not same even though they a have a high degree of similarity.

Sample Vs population: the sample based analysis are conducted to understand the entire behaviour. However the present days big data emphasizes on the population instead of focusing on the samples. It is seen that  the problem related to discovery becomes easier and  the results are more accurate.

Events, tasks, and decisions in business processes

Individual Vs network: the observations are often reflects individual data and decentralized links that can be formed as a data network. The big data is often linked with such type of data network so that it offers a new and fresh perspective. It also has exerted a subtle influence on the research system. Moreover the business network management can strive to make network  by a collaboration of business processes.

Causality and correlation: the major problem in big data research is the correlation plays a much more important role than causality. If the statistics of incoming link says it too be good the it is considered to be good. Correlation also attracts much attention in the scene where the clustering is based on technology are taken into consideration.

CMCC is committing itself to the practises of BPM in the era of big data, targeting to facilitate process consolidation and enhancing the analytical intelligence. It is connecting to the key problem for the business. There are many existing algorithm like process mining, process models decomposition, familiar searches and merging are considered and exploited. They are further implemented and integrated into a process model configuration tool so that the advanced analysis is integrated into the BPM life cycle (John Walker 2014).

The advantages faced by the organization by implementing the technological advantages and implementation of the big data helps the organizations in the following way:

They tend to meet the requirement of the workers and set goals that are beneficial to the workers. They are maintained with the human welfare strategy and adjusts the rules as per the human or employee requirement. This was the orthodox system of management system and the organization must improve the work culture in such organization. However there are few organization that fears the implementation of new strategies and processes in the organization as they fear that the new process might not be acceptable by the workers and that can hamper the organization.

The article Goetsch and Davis(2014) states the difference between the organization that believes in the technology advancement and the benefits acquired from it and the orthidix organization that believes in the system that depends on the old system of business management that excludes iBPM.

Events: events are conditions that supports the performance of the process to be held in an organization. The processes starts and ends with a process and it is claimed to be an incident that happens in oppose to something that has already been done for some particular purpose. It is considered to be an effect that occurs when sufficient cause has been provided.

Limitations of people-driven organizations

Tasks: the activities are broken down in to the smallest unit termed as task. The business process that describes various activities and interrelationship between them. It is important to have a synergetic view to complete the entire activity in the organization. The growing organizations are including the objective of various people who come up with different objective that becomes more conflicting in nature. This can cause confusion and conflicts in the organization thus the organization must have a good understanding and knowledge of how the process connects to various other activities and how processes help them to organize the entire incident and solve the problem and achieve sustainable progress.

Decisions:the decision making incident plays an important role in organization. When an organization is collaboratively working with each members, then are huge chances fir conflicts while taking a decision. The people in the organization tends to high light their own strategy even if the decision is harmful r wrong for the organization. During this period of time the process driven organizations benefit. They already have a fixed system and process for their decision making. The decision remains consistent for the organization that maintains a process and are not biased by any personal relation.

Limitation of skill: In a people driven organization the knowledge required to hire an employee, take a decision or make changes that are beneficial to the organization are done by the manager or HR. however the people driven organization has incomplete knowledge thus the decision taken by them are insufficient or wrong for the organization. However the process driven organization have a complete set of knowledge that helps the organization to grow and take right decision for themselves. They will hire the best consultants to identify the risk related to the organization and make necessary changes.

Agent-principal conflict: the people driven organization are highly dependent on the employees. However there are scopes for the employees being immoral and tend to cheat the organization for their own benefit (Völter et al. 2013). They might misguide or mislead the organization in a wrong path that will affect the organization in an adverse manner. On the other hand a process driven organization are highly concerned about the decision and step as they take and has a valid reason behind it. There are no scope for misguiding or misleading the organization. Thus the process driven organization benefits from this strategy also.

Conclusion:

Thus it can be concluded with the note that the organization are tending to develop their skills and strategy every day. To reach their desired goals and also compete in the market with the leading brands it is important firth e companies to introduce big data system in the organization. The systematic management in the organization helps them to become more work and target oriented. The mapping of the working system is designed in the organization in such a manner that helps them to work effectively and efficiently. The organization must make sure that they are abiding by the process ot enhance their growth and process in the market. However it has also been mentioned in the study that a combination of technology and efficiency is also required in the organization that can give the best outcome to the organization. It is important for the organization to understand the importance of maintaining a proper position for the employees but at the same time they have to maintain certain rules for the organization that will enhance the growth and effective management system in the organization
