As per the statement of Schaper et al. (2014), it can be mentioned that young Australian social entrepreneur Woollard has started seven women. Since 2006, seven women have been working for empowering marginalized Nepalese women by equipping by skill and know how. This study will deal the attitude of the seven women for the entrepreneurship, as it is known that entrepreneurship is the important approach for designing and launching of new business and also for the start up business (Khayesi, George and Antonakis 2014). This study will be helpful to identify and discuss the importance of entrepreneur for a start up business as well as also for the small business.

The research will aim to discuss the attitude of the students towards the seven women entrepreneur. Precisely, it can be mentioned that the researcher of this study has aimed to highlight the student attitude for the responsible marketing.

The objectives of the study are:

  • To critically estimate the challenges faced students after creating seven women
  • To critically estimate the organizational risks
  • To critically estimate the sources of funding
  • To critically estimate new opportunities in case of the business expansion
  • What are the challenges faced by students after creating new business?
  • What are the organizational risks?
  • What is the source of funding for opening new business?
  • What are the opportunities in case of business expansion?

The study will deal with the issues and challenges faced by the seven women entrepreneur in case of opening the organization by the Australian student. In this context, it can be mentioned that poor funding will reduce the performance of the organization (Conrad and Cates 2015).

Hypothesis 1: There is an association between the age of the student and the entrepreneurship intention.

Hypothesis 2: There is a connection between the gender of the student and the entrepreneurship intention.

In this section, the researcher will consider the performance of the seven women social organization as the independent factor whereas the attitude of the students towards the organizational performance is assumed as the dependent factor. In order to identify the organizational performance, organizational operations and the functions of the social enterprise will be discussed, which will be able to find out the effect of the independent factor on the dependent factor (Ayala and Manzano 2014). In addition, this study is also helpful to discuss challenges, which are faced by the organization and how the employees have mitigated the risks will be highlighted in this section.

Seven women organization mainly sales handicraft products made to the Fair trade standards. The overall procedures from all of the sales are sent back to the fund skills training for discouraged the women in Nepal to help them to secure a sustainable future. It is known that seven women is an incorporated nonprofit foundation. According to Koester (2016), the major aim of this organization is to empower the marginalized and the disabled women of Nepal through socially and economically and also by providing training and employment. In this purpose, the management of seven women sales the hand made products of the Nepalese women. Recently, seven women have worked in rural Nepal for the development of greenhouse projects in order to develop the local income streams (Cassar 2014).

Research Aims and Objectives

The aim of seven women is to give each of the women equivalent opportunities. Women who are financially independent, will have greater control over the children’s as well as on own lives. As opined by Syed and Shaikh (2013), it can be mentioned that capability, confidence and capital are required to develop and grow the enterprise successfully. On the contrary, Mitchelmore and Rowley (2013) argued that women entrepreneurs would suffer the problems due t the lack of business skill, technology, networks. They also suffer from the access of financial services and hence, it can be assumed that they would be successful in the long run. As a result, seven women give the support into these four sectors, so that the women can expand their businesses and would increase the employment opportunities for the other residents. In this connection, Franco et al. (2014) opined that this foundation will develops programs for developing confidence, capability and capital in women. On the other hand, it can be stated that this seven women foundation would focus to the development of the women’s micro, medium and the smaller enterprises for developing the sustainable businesses.

According to Khayesi, George and Antonakis (2014), it can be mentioned that Seven women has made a relief fund for helping the victims of Nepal earthquake. In this connection, it can be added that seven women team has rescued the victims to their headquarters. They accumulated the funds for purchasing foods and clothes, who are homeless. They also take steps for minimizing the spreading the germs. The staffs of seven women mainly worked for the villagers of Newacot, which has been affected very badly (Mitchelmore and Rowley 2013).

Seven women also suffer from several organizational challenges in case of running a business. As opined by Cheraghi and Schott (2014), it can be mentioned that entrepreneurship has been traditionally seen a male preserve. Women also face the role of confliction as they initiate the entrepreneurial activity. Therefore, in this point it can be mentioned that the women would face such diversification and also require to cope with this dual performance. On the other hand, it can be observed that most of the women of this foundation do not have the basic entrepreneurial bent of mind, therefore, the performance of seven women would decrease compared to the other small-scale firms (Wachana et al. 2016). In addition, they would be able to market their products significantly due to the lack of enough knowledge in marketing.

Moreover, seven women sometimes suffer from the scarcity of funds. In this respect, it can be mentioned that this foundation would not manage the efficient working capital and the credit sources. Urbano and Alvarez (2014) cited that marketing and the financial problems are the obstacles, which have faced by the seven women foundation in their operation. However, they manage their funding for their organizational operation by making successful their business. In this context, it can be stated that the foundation authority has highlighted that the shareholders would get interest to invest in their ventures as the organization has capacity to return the amount to the investors (Syed and Shaikh 2013). Therefore, seven women would also be able to manage their funding from the source of microfinance. Lastly, it can be identified that this organization would suffer from the problem of shortages of raw materials. Furthermore, Chell et al. (2016) opined that due to the higher competition, the sales of seven women have decreased. The cost of production is also very high, which has increased the price of the products.

Research Questions

This section of this study will highlight the process and techniques used in this context. This chapter will highlight the research philosophy, research method, research approach, the data collection procedure, size of the sample and the ethical considerations for accomplishing the research.

The researcher of this study will choose the positivism research philosophy to complete the study. As per the statement of Boyett (2013), it can be mentioned that positivism research philosophy gives a highly structured to shape the research. In addition, the sample size is large, which is helpful to support the positivism research.

In order to complete the study, the researcher will chose deductive research approach to examine the strength of the assumptions developed in the research. The researcher will follow the deductive approach due to the abundance available source and also due to limited time in order to accomplish the research (Gelbman, Laven and Stenvall 2016).  

Research design is useful in case of descriptive type research. The descriptive design will be benefitted to the researcher to explain the characteristics of the phenomena highlighted in this study. According to Casson (2013), it can be mentioned that this design will highlight the researcher to achieve a detailed approach of the research.

In order to accomplish the study, the attitude of the students towards the entrepreneur business, the researcher will follow a primary research. In the research, both the quantitative research will be followed. The quantitative analysis will be followed in order to survey the staffs of seven women through online (Mas-Tur and Soriano 2014). On the other hand, the attitude of the students towards the entrepreneurship business will be interviewed.

The researcher will opt the simple random probability process to follow the quantitative analysis. Moreover, the sampling techniques will provide sampling method provides equivalent chances to all of the staffs and the students for being selected for the survey (Holland and Garrett 2015). The sample method, which will be followed in order to conduct the interview method, is non-probability sampling technique.

The researcher will focus to accomplish the study in a detailed way. In this context, it can be mentioned that the researcher will conduct an interview on 30 employees and 5 students will be considered. The quantitative analysis will be followed by surveying the staffs through online surveys. A questionnaire consisting a set of 7 questions (out of which, two questions are based on the demography) and will be developed and then forwarded to the staffs through the website of the organization (Chavez 2016). The questions will be close ended to obtain data regarding the attitude of the students towards the entrepreneur. Furthermore, a set of 3 open ended questions will be developed to interview the students.

There are definite ethical considerations that the researcher will follow to consider while completing the study. The permission of the social enterprise is necessary to carry out the study. Therefore, it can be mentioned that there is no biasness in the study and therefore, the emotion of the staffs is not hurt (Goliath and Farrington 2015). In addition, the researcher will have to maintain the privacy of the organization as well as the personal information of the staffs.

Research Issues

The methodology section of this research highlights the several approaches and techniques, which will be used in the study to obtain the outcome of the study. In order to accomplish the study, the researcher will follow the positivism research philosophy. A deductive approach will be performed as the research approach (Conrad and Cates 2015). Moreover, the descriptive research design will be followed as the research design. The quantitative and the qualitative research analysis will be followed to perform the primary and the secondary research. The sampling process used by the researcher is non-probability sampling technique. 30 staffs of seven women organization have been chosen for conducting the interview (Ayala and Manzano 2014). The collected information will be analyzed in order to identify the attitude of the students towards the entrepreneur.

Statistical Inference

Based on the collected information, the researcher will take the help of SPSS statistical software. In this context, the researcher would perform the descriptive statistics, linear regression and the Pearson correlation coefficient.

Descriptive Analysis:

It is known that descriptive statistics follows different measurement such as mean, median, mode, range and standard deviation. From the above study, it can be observed that the variables whose modes will be estimated are such as the challenges faced by the mentioned social enterprise, so that the students can identify what challenges are facing by the organization after opening a new business. On the other hand, the students can also identify whether the students will get opportunities to expand the small businesses. In this purpose, the students will get a clear idea regarding the operations of seven women. With the help of regression analysis, the students will be able to identify how the organizational risks will regress the attitude if the students. In addition, the students can also understand how organizational challenges will be mitigated.

On the other hand, the female students will be able to identify whether the female employees will be able to successfully operate their business. Therefore, the female students will be helpful to identify if they will be successful after starting a new business. In this connection, it can be stated that the Pearson correlation will help to find out the relationship between the gender and the starting of new business.

Moreover, after the analysis it can be inferred that how the funding is important for starting a business. In this connection, the researcher will perform the regression analysis for identifying the importance of microfinance and how this factor will regress the new business. From this inference, the student will also get idea whether they will get fund for opening new business. From this analysis, it can be inferred that students have positive attitude towards the entrepreneur. They will be able to mitigate the organizational risks and these ideas they will get from the approach of seven women.
