Beer is an alcoholic beverage that is often made from malted cereal grain such as barley, brewed by slow fermentation and flavoured with hops and is widely consumed throughout the world. The industry focuses on the colour, flavour and smell of the beer so as to produce the best quality which is needed by the consumers. They also need to choose their market wisely so that they can have easy transportation and distribution. Over the years, they have not been using an efficient method in the beer production but with the rise of the new technology, the industry has embraced cavitation as a technology(Barty,,2010). Cavitation is the scientific way to improve the beer making process by formation of tiny bubbles of vapour inside the liquid. Scientists came up with this technology to change the way beer is fermented for the production of an exemplary type and taste of beer.

The technology of cavitation pulps the malted barley which makes it unnecessary to do the milling in advance; it therefore leads to reduction of production cost also the spent malt which is a by-product in beer making is highly biodegradable and good for the environment(Beer,2009).

The technology reduces the amount of starch left in the malt after the whole process of manufacturing beer; this means that the rinsing of the malt to separate sugar and starch becomes unnecessary.  This leads to saving a lot of energy that could have been used if the technology was not available.

Before the introduction of cavitation technology, employs used to have a noise free environment but after the industry embraced cavitation technology in the beer making process there has been a lot of noise produced which leads to poor working conditions and increased noise pollution(Burrell,2014)

Beer industries technology creates more jobs for people in more careers. This industries employ all sort of human race in their careers. This careers include selling managers engineers and many others that are supposed to help the company achieve their production target.

In the current society the industries that manufacture beer have greatly increased hence a burden of it in the market. This really affects the society since a large population consumes it without understanding its effect. Due to this the government is striving to fight the production of beer through imposing high tax to products that are used to make beer e.g. grains. The government imposes high tax fees to grain farmers so that at the end the price of beer will be more than expected. This increases the price of grains hence affecting more people that use grains for other purposes.

Decrease in Cost of Production

Many beverages including beers act as stimulant .Meaning when they are consumed they have a great impact to the mind of the users. Some people take beer while driving this increases the number of accident in roads(Gardner,2013) .Most of the accidents are caused by drunkard drivers .More so in manufacturing industries like  beer industry there cases that they are on fire. The main reason of this is that beer is more flammable hence any mistake fire is lightened. Fire not only causes loss to the company property but also it pollutes the environment through burning of beer by releasing smoke to the environment.

Beer and its technology have many impacts to the society and some other factors that prevent them from achieving their targets. Likely this industries create jobs but at some time there factors that causes them not to employ more workers .This factors include the following.

Many believe that beer is illegal including many government at this days. They order its production to stop but what they really do is impose high tax in its production for it to have low consumption rate to discourage the companies from producing it. The company then make less profit than expected hence they do not employ more workers or even at times fire some workers so that they remain with those that they can cater for their needs.

A large population has no qualifications to work in industries. Although the company may require to hire more employees but it is discouraged   due to low educational level qualification of the available population.

The technology strives to reduce labour costs in that the employees that used to work in the industry are laid off and trained personnel are recruited so as to operate the new technology.  At some point this tend to cause strikes and go slows from those opposed to the technology which end up in the labour courts(LEGRAS,2009). The technology increases output within a short duration that brings higher returns in the industry as compared to when they used manual fermentation process. Reduces energy required for beer making process thereby indirectly leading to the reduction in operation costs.

As a new technology, cavitation in one way or the other has greatly brought a shakeup in the beer industry this ranges from change in the physical; process and the end results. To start with, cavitation has reduced environmental emissions like the amount of waste being disposed and the energy consumed from the national grid. Secondly, there is an improvement in the end product which is beer in terms of taste and flavour(Jaskula,2009). This has resulted to a boom in the entertainment industry whereby many people are enjoying the new products. Lastly, the economic sector has benefitted a lot from the technology since many beer producing companies are buying the technology at the same time increasing their production that results in high amounts of taxable income.
