As they are the aboriginal people in the country they do not get the proper health treatment from the communities as they are much neglected indeed. The Maori children have not got the proper treatment for their health benefits over the years. The childhood education has not been provided to them as well. The care giving practices can be of two types. These are the traditional and the contemporary practices. There are some barriers in this scenario and these things will have to be overcome.

The article has revealed that this period of the infants is very much critical since the development of the brains of the babies have been discussed in somewhat critical ways as well. The most important issues in the education for the children have been discussed in this article like the difference in the learning and development of the children from their birth and three years of age. This article has revealed that the aspect of the belongings is very much important for the children. The implementation of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) on the children has been evaluated.

These are in the home and in the family. The article has focused on the several sections like the early childhood and care (ECEC). The background of New Zealand has been considered here. The fact of belonging has been the relationship of the children with the other people in the family has been discussed here thoroughly. Thus this article has made much positive contributions to the topic of the assignment.

It has some strengths and weaknesses as well. The positive focus on the EYLF and ECEC has been the major strength for the article. This relationship of the members of the family and the infants is really very much integral (Stratigos, Bradley & Sumsion, 2014). The health of the infants and toddlers has not been focused properly in this segment. This is a weakness of the article.  The various dimensions for maintaining the health and well-being of the infants have been discussed here like the emotional, cultural, social, temporal, spatial, moral or ethical, physical, legal and political. These aspects will have to be discussed properly in this section as well.

The fourth article that has been selected here is the ‘A pedagogy of care: Moving beyond the margins of managing work and minding’ (Rockel, 2009). This article has been selected in order to be criticized because the aspect of child pedagogy has a deep relationship with the overall development of the children. The author of this article is Jean Rockel (Rockel, 2009).

The most important issues and challenges faced in providing the children with the care giving have been discussed over here. The care setting in the educational context has been given the most important focus in this article. The national curriculum will have to be revised for the benefits of the children and the infants (Rockel, 2009). The qualified teachers and the educators will have to play the major role in this procedure. According to the authors it has been revealed that the educators should be trained to tackle large groups of infants. The collectiveness of the children or the infants has been very problematic to handle for the caregivers.

The author has expressed his opinion that the care giving for the infants should always be based on their habits that have been seen in them over the months and years. The child care should be provided to them as per the pedagogical approach (Rockel, 2009). The strength of this article lies in the display of the minute details of child pedagogy that has been put in by the authors. The weakness is that it has not showed the complexity of the infant care giving in a minute manner. The role of the care givers has been very important to assess the genuine details about the author. Thus the article has provided a good contribution about the subject topic.

The importance of care giving has been discussed here in a grand manner since the infants are need of thorough care.
