The processes that are being undertaken by the concerned company for the proper undertaking of the marketing activities are being addressed in this section of the report. In order to develop the business in the international markets and thereby adhere to a proper marketing scheme, the company has undertaken the following steps:

  • Introduction of a new line of business, the lifeboat services, which is based on the objective of the organization to make its expansion in the international markets
  • The company has also signed contracts with the Maersk Oil Qatar for the new lift boat ‘Rumailah’ and Al-Jassra. It has helped in the proper execution of the objective of the organization to grow in the international markets. proper undertaking of the contracts has helped in determining the different aspects of the marketing facilities of the organization in the market (Lee  and Carter  2012).
  • There are contracts that were signed with Oxy for the newly acquired rig ‘Msheireb’ and the Al-Wajba contract was renewed. The contracts that are being signed by the concerned company has helped in the maintenance of the situation of the organization in the markets. ISM is an important part of management that helps an organization in acquiring knowledge about the chief stakeholders of the organization (Armstrong et al. 2015). It helps in understanding the change, which is undertaken by the organization and monitoring over the services and the requirements of the customers. It helps in understanding the varied requirements of the clients and thereby brings in modifications in the manufactured products by the organization (Refer to Appendice 2). The ISM of the company helps in undertaking the developments of the organization in the systems. The organizational objective of maintaining the quality of the products is being facilitated with the introduction of the ISM in the systems of the organization (Laudon  and Laudon 2016). The benefits of the introduction of the ISM are easily portrayed through the performance of the organization in the market. The change in the revenue structure and the net profit computed at the end of the financial years 2012 and 2013 clearly states the progress made by the organization in the markets. The proper understanding of the implementation of the IS helps in the [proper management of the customer dealings of the organization (Hutt and Speh  2012). 

Role played by ISM in the organization

The role that is being played by the management of the IS helps in understanding the efficiency of the undertakings of the organization. It helps in determining the issues in the management of the organization to bring in the progress. The ISM of the organization has helped in the undertaking of the steps that helps in the systematic improvements planned by the organization (Wilson  and Gilligan 2012). The implementation of the IS at the end of the year 2012 has helped the company in making significant improvement in the undertakings which can be readily viewed in the annual report published by the company (Refer to Appendice 1).

There are several plans that are being undertaken by the company for meeting the improvements in the system of the organization. It has helped in undertaking steps in order to bring in improvements in the smooth functioning of the business enterprise (Hendry  2012). On the other hand, the proper plans for the working of the IS, which is being installed in the company for its benefits has helped in maintaining the equilibrium of the quality of the products and the quantity of the same delivered based on the client requirements. The involvement of the IS has helped the organization in bringing about the change in the structure and the framework. The development of the IS has taken significant changes in the organizational framework and the functions undertaken by the same (Galliers  and Leidner  2014).

The company has strategies for considering the elements of the IS based on the security issues that might be faced by the customers. The company ensures the customers of safeguarding their information and their interests, which helps in maintaining the professionalism. On the other hand, the proper maintenance of the IS will be helping the organization to bring in the changes, which is required by the clients (Beardwell  and Thompson  2014).
