Mitre 9 and Maters Home Improvement have decided to merge for providing the better hardware solutions and some assumptions that are decided by the combined management of these two companies. This report is elaborating all of these assumptions. In addition to this information technology and information, system has some basic differences that are discussed in this report in order to evaluate the impacts of these two on the brand value customer satisfaction and continued support system. In contrast with all these aspects, some policies are recommended to the combined management in order to attract their customers in a better way.

Mitre 9 is a hardware store that provides the service to 23 locations in Australia. Music players, merchandising, multimedia sales etc are provided as the service to their customer all over Australia. In case of the other partner of Hardware-r-us, also a hardware store provides hardware elements at very reasonable cost. This organization is providing their service to 20 locations. The core strength of this organization is the installation process within a reasonable cost structuring. In addition to this, the organization provides the facility of providing late hour services to their customers. The online booking system is also innovative and interesting for attracting the customers. Both the organizations have impressive structuring and other advantages over each other, but in contrast with the improvement strategies, it is found that if most effectives strategies are merged with each other and a new company is formed then it will be beneficial in terms of revenue and brand value. Therefore, this combined decision helps in establishing a new organization named Hardware-r-us. This merged organization added so many advantages to the business perspectives. The merged up management team has decided to combine few strategic measures with each other. 

Hardware-r-us is also a hardware solution that will be providing hardware elements to their clients. The superior management team has decided to involve three new strategic planning for the betterment of the production as well as the structuring of organizational culture. Senior management team proposed system for making the successful merging of two organizations. These measures are explained as follows:

• Staffs of the Hardware-r-us will be the old employees from the Mitre 9 and Maters Home Improvements. In addition to this, all the product types and supply chain management will be same as previous like the other two companies.
• All the installation features will be same as the previous one. The aging system of the Mitre 9 will be merged with the advanced system of the Mater.
• Hardware-r-us will provide the low cost services to their customers for improving their popularity and brand value in the concerned marketplace. In the competitive market, this aspect will improve the competitiveness with their concerned competitors. This structuring also involves the large product ranges than in comparison with the previous two companies.
• In addition to this, several other options will be improving the brand value and popularity of Hardware-r-us. This organization will be providing 15% charge for online bookings. This means that the organization will be providing extra facilities to their premium clients for maintaining their loyalty.

Decisions taken by the Hardware-r-us

Management is an important part of any organization that plays a great role in improving the system architecture and other serious improving perspectives. The management authority helps to evaluate the core needs of the organization. In contrast with the scenario of the Hardware-r-us, the organization is designing a management structure that will provide a good amount of benefit to the newly merged organization.

The senior management team of the Hardware-r-us has been taken some decisions that will be beneficial to the organization from various perspectives. All of these decisions are classified into three segments that are specifying a detailed overview of the concerned system development. Core target of Hardware-r-us is to provide the service and goods in a reasonable price range that will make them more popular and competitive in the concerned target market. For this purpose, they have introduced several new aspects within the organizational structure.

The organization has decided to maintain their providing as per the production of the Mitre 9 and Mater Home Improvement. All the staffs and usable infrastructure has been kept same as the previous one that was used in MHI and Mitre 9. According to the study about the management policies there are certain risks involved in the perspective of the change management. This change may influence the work culture of the organization that is not desired in this case. Therefore keeping the same organization culture, structure and people may benefit the organization from various perspectives.

The MHI have the advanced scheduling system than the Mitre 9. Aging system is nothing but a structured way of approaching the business activities that will help the organization in maintaining their organizational structure in a better way. In contrast with the case study, it is clear that Hardware-r-us want to make their organizational structure better. Therefore, the merged organization implemented the aging system of MHI.

In addition to the above mentioned aspects, there are several other aspects that have been incorporated within the Hardware-r-us. The newly merged organization planned to provide their customer 15% off on bookings done from the online sites than the bookings done from the stores. 

Information System and information technology is always considered as synonym but in real life both the technologies is a subset of Information system.  Both the fields deal with various technologies that have distinct characteristics, which are required in different training and education procedures.

This report is elaborating about the scenario related to the merging of two hardware solutions. These organizations are Mitre 9 an MHI. Both of these organizations have good structure that offers their customer’s good quality of products and services with assured value with it. In spite of these advantages the higher management authority have decided to merge these two organization in order to achieve better performance measures in the competitive marketplace. The senior management authority has proposed some systems that will be providing some innovative structures that will benefit the newly merged organization. In this report, the assumptions decided for the betterment of the organization is done for Hardware-r-us. In addition to this aspect the difference between the information system and information technology is being highlighted in this report. In contrast with this scenario, this report is elaborating the policies that will guide Hardware-r-us to attract their customers from various perspectives. In addition to this, this report is explaining the impact of the information technology and information system on the improvemental perspective of Hardware-r-us. This aspect is considering the improvement and strategic planning of the concerned organization. All the information provided in this report supports the better organizational structure of the Hardware-r-us.
