Managing can be defined as the act of having control or authority over something in relation to action (Drucker 2012). Leading can be defined as the act of guiding or having an impact on leadership qualities that can make a person different from the contemporaries in respect of work (Yukl 2013). Stewardship is defined as the act of supervising or taking care of something in relation to organization or property. The three concepts are of pivotal importance in the context of the study (Hernandez 2012).

The study of the main assumptions of the subject is related to the fact that by learning and implementing this subject, one can get hold of the key concepts of management along with the act of possessing the qualities of leadership and stewardship. The assumptions of the subject include the main points of authority and maintaining the authority of the student.

By reading the subject, I expected to get a detailed overview of the type of leadership and management that can help me in my further professional life and also the act of supervising the executives who have been assigned under me in the professional fields. Every subject teaches something worthwhile to the students reading it, and likewise, this one has also helped me learn the basic factors related to management that can help me in proceeding well with my career. 

 The areas of managing, leading and stewardship that deals with the key importance are the ones that have helped me in dealing with the different areas of my professional life and help me in managing things both in terms of professional and personal experiences. The key aspects of managing, leading and stewardship include the factors of managing the whole process and also making sure that the student finds ample scope for implementing the knowledge in the future works assigned to them. Without the knowledge of the areas included, the student will fail miserably in the practical life experiences of the professional field including the act of managing and leading the whole process.

I, after enrolling in the course had a lot of expectations from the subject as the scope of the subject was extremely wide which encompassed a number of factors into the whole process. The study had helped me in dealing with stressful and delicate matters of the professional life and also come across as an able leader who could manage and supervise the tasks assigned to me with ease and comfort. The whole process seemed very achievable after a thorough analysis of the subject and working on the matters related to it in the professional field. The topic of managing was of prime importance, as it is extremely needed both in the professional and personal life of the student reading it. The act of leading is of prime importance in the modern times as leadership qualities not only give the power to authorize things and situations but also make sure that the things are done according to a plan by the subordinates. The act of stewardship is needed both by the executives and the managers as supervising work and maintaining the quality of the work is needed at an extreme level in today’s world where quality work is demanded over the quantity. 

Statement of expectations on the subject

Reflect on your expectations from the subject, particularly on what you expect/hope to learn in this subject and why this is relevant for you. Reflect on what you are not sure about regarding the topics of managing, leading and stewardship, and any contradictions you have experienced/are aware of in relation to these topics. When I first came across the topic in my syllabus, then things that I expected from the subject was to teach me the process and ways of leadership and management. The act of supervising was also needed by me as I had plans of getting a job in the corporate world where these aspects of a person are of prime importance. The study was relevant to my stream as I got to know a lot about the whole process and which made me aware of the different sectors of management and leadership qualities that I needed for my professional field. Previously, I had a lot of confusions on the ways of management and stewardship as it is not important to lead a plan or an organization but also to make sure that the work is done in a proper manner by managing the kinds of stuff and also supervising whenever needed. The study helped me not only in my professional life but also in my personal experiences as well. I was poor in managing the aspects of time and work, and the study helped me to get a clear overview of the lacking and the needs of the whole process. 

The student, after the studying, can take up the knowledge of the class into both their professional and personal life experiences. Professionally, the student can make use of the content in managing the class and also take up professional work in the job that he/she is opting for. In the personal front, the student can take up the work discourse and can utilize the knowledge in managing and supervising the matters in the personal life and also can use the concepts of management in time and work management that can be fruitful for the student in the longer period. The everyday practices are also tremendously influenced by the knowledge as the student can utilize the knowledge in making the whole work process a lot easier and more of more quality.

The student, in order to prove the learning, can use a number of means of managing a project work or even supervising the work done by the group in the class. The student can be assigned a group of students who would work under him/her so that he/she can maintain the whole work and lead the process in the making. The student will then be able to pull off the work and also get into the act of management and stewardship. He can also lead the work done by the student and make sure that the work is done on a priority level without any issues of the same. The whole process can be explained by an example that the student, when assigned a project can work on the whole process without a hassle and can even manage the whole team and lead the students when and wherever needed. The student can also make sure that the project work is done on a timely basis which requires strict supervision and also making sure that every assigned student does their part which proves his/her management skills. All these traits of character and qualities will help him in maintaining a healthy and professional work front that will help him in achieving this target in the future.

Identification of key areas/topics related to managing, leading, stewardship that is of concern to the student or creates tensions

The student is able to make the whole learning fruitful by making a thoughtful reading of the whole environment around him and by also making the correct decisions required by him at all the correct timings. The student, with the new found knowledge, is able to demonstrate the whole process with ease and shows various signs and symbols that have led to the conception that has made the stimuli of the student catchy with the knowledge that he/she has gathered. The student has shown the assigned knowledge by making use of the practical works that he/she has gathered in the whole process. He/she can lead, manage and even supervise the work assigned to him/her and can also make use of the knowledge in going timely work with ease. 

The student during the study of the subject has demonstrated an amount of knowledge that he/she has acquired during the overall process of the subject. The student has learned the skill of management, leadership, and stewardship that has helped him to get a number of worth reviews and skills during the overall working conditions of the student. The things that have changed are his/her ways of handling a situation, managing the task assigned and also to supervise the ways and activities involved in the overall process. The things that have not changed include the technique that the student has applied in the overall activity and working conditions of the student and also to make sure that the approach of the student remains unchanged. The behavior and the worth of the student are maintained in the whole process, and the student is expected to behave in a certain manner that should remain unchanged.

The student has the capability to show that he has gathered all the required knowledge with ease and comfort and that can be demonstrated in his ability to link the required knowledge gathered with the overall process. The student when assigned a project is able to apply all the abilities and knowledge which can help him to make sure that he has achieved the target with ease and comfort. The whole acquirement of the energies and the skills have helped him professionally maintaining the tasks and also to make sure that he has achieved all the requirements of passing the assignment both theoretically and practically.

The action in the whole process requires some guiding principles ruled by the concepts of ethical and working mode. The student should be able to work under pressure and with the team spirit required for the process. Moreover, the student should be able to demonstrate the whole idea with ability and ease.

The student should show the concepts of leadership, management, and stewardship, which can be fruitful to the society by making required changes in the leadership roles and by giving the subordinates the freedom to work in their own comfort. In addition, the supervision of the actions of the society needed to be addressed properly.

The student should be committed in the act of giving his best efforts to the action and should be self-motivated in the whole procedure making his judgments and actions vital and without any biasness for the future of both his professional front and his company’s existence
