I have taken the values inventory test that has helped me in knowing the strengths and weaknesses. This is one of the student-friendly tools that has helped me in identifying the strengths that I can use in the near future.

My Top Four Core Values Are:

I have learnt that these are my core values and I must use them in all my future endeavors. I have got this knowledge that as I am honest, I can use this in my professional career. This will help me to be a good team player. I will always try to be honest in all the assignments that come across my way. I will never think of my personal gains over the welfare of my team mates. I will always abide by the correct rules and regulations.I am also having the tendency of being the best. In other words, I am a perfectionist and I do not believe in doing any work in a half-hearted manner. This will help me in becoming a hard working person and I will be able to develop a good team, working spirit.

I feel that being accountable is one of the greatest strengths that one can have to be a good team leader. I always bear the accountability for my own work. In other words, I never shift the workload or the blame over others. I always try my level best o take up the responsibility of my work over myself. All these strengths show that I can be confident about my career to some extent. This will help me in becoming a good teamwork in the near future.

One of the strength is an attempt of being the best in the work that I am undertaking. As per my understanding, this is one of the strengths of my personality. However, others might see this as a weakness. Often at the workplace, I become violent and take unnecessary stress. This can often appear as a very bad and negative thing for my team members. This difference is mainly because of the fact that it is not possible for them to understand my approaches right in the first instance.

I have realized that one of my biggest strength is honesty. This will always help me in my future career. I will never be carried away by any kinds of biases or greed. I will always stay neutral and unbiased in all my endeavors’. The other important strength is perfect. I always try to stay perfect in all my assignments. This helps me in understanding that I must use this as one of the biggest strength. I also consider empathy as one of my biggest strength. I will be able to be an empathetic leader in the near future, I will be able to understand the perspective of my employees and think about their welfare as well.

There are some principles or rules that are to be followed while setting any particular goals. The first important principle is clarity. This helps in setting clear-cut goals without any confusion. One of my goals is to develop a proper decision making skill within myself.

The next important principle is to set challenging roles. I think that this will be helpful for me as I will be able to develop a courageous attitude and also start taking important challenges.

I will also develop a strong sense of commitment so that I can stay true to the goals that I want to accomplish. Staying committed and loyal will surely be very helpful.

The first important step is identifying the alternatives. After finding the issue, the next best thing is to find out the best possible solution to the problem. The next important step is to find the pros and cons of the option that has to be chosen. As a responsible manager, it is important to analyze the possible results of the selected solution. The last but not the least is reviewing the option that has been selected.

In order to work properly within a team, I have to make sure that I am developing a cooperative nature. I believe that I have a cooperative nature and I never back step in helping others. However, I have to work over my decision making skill. I have realized that without proper decision-making skill, I will not be able to be a good team player. I know that I am a perfectionist and I always have the tendency of being the best. At the same time, I have to make sure that I am not creating unnecessary pressure on others. I have to give time to all the team members so that they can actually cope up with the pressure and deliver their best.

I think that empathy is one of my major strength. I will always keep other’s interest before thinking about mine. I will always make sure that as a leader, I am supporting each and every need of my subordinates. As their leader I will always provide them professional and moral support. I will not think about my personal wellbeing above their interest..

Weakness:

I realized that one of my weaknesses is a lack of proper decision making power. I often get nervous and do not know how to convey the message properly. I will also have to keep a control over my temper.

I will make sure that I am grabbing every opportunity coming in my way and making good use of it. I will always take the responsibility of my mistakes committed by me.

I aspire to make myself easily approachable among my followers. I think that I fear to speak in public. However, I have realized that this is one of the major weaknesses of my career. I often get angry and talk with my followers in a very right manner. However, this happens when I am under a huge pressure.

The results will be very helpful or my professional and personal life a well. They will help me to provide every possible support to my followers.

I have undertaken a clear personal development analysis in order to find out the areas of my strengths and weaknesses. I will be nurturing the areas of my strength and take necessary steps that will help me to work over my weaknesses.

Understand personal branding, reputation and the links to values  

I have first outlined all the strengths and weakness that are present within me. In order to develop a good personal brand, I had made a list of the areas of my weakness so that I can take the necessary steps. I have realized that I need to work on my level of confidence, public addressing and the decision making skill. Thus, I thought of opening an online personal website that would help me to get a lot of good ideas about my areas of weakness. I started sharing my own experiences and how I am trying to overcome them. I got good responses as my colleagues and friends were also responding to my website. They poured in their advice and their experiences. This really helped me a great deal.

In order to increase the networking skills, I have to interact and communicate with my colleagues so that there is a good exchange of ideas. I will be using the same in order to make my networks stronger. This will surely be very beneficial in the long run.
