Project management can be described as a set of practices those could be accomplished in a sequential manner that can lead to a successful daily operational activity or a big project. The project charter has been presented considering the aspects and activities necessary for the accomplishment of the chosen case study, which is a connected city ‘connect regionally and globally.’ This project charter explains the constraints those could be utilized for the development of project planning and executing a successful project that will be helpful in developing a transport network for allowing the consumers to be connected with the major cities and global world.  

The purpose of this report is to explain the aspects of the project management those are necessary for the successful deployment of the project a connected city in an efficient and effective manner. This report presents the schedule, cost, activities, and risks associated with the delivery of this project.  

The project will provide a transport network for the individuals of the Melbourne city to be connected by road with the Australia’s major cities and Asian-pacific regions around the world. Latest technologies will be utilized for allowing the implementation of this project in an efficient and effective manner. Sensors and GPS tracking system will be incorporated within the transport vehicles.

The changes will be applied within the Melbourne city only and the boundaries of the transportation and logistics services will be altered within the Australia. This project will allow the Melbourne city to be connected with the world and allowing the individuals to avail better and enhanced transport services.
